Made with a 15mm shaft and 50mm auger, it will easly screw into the sand and loose soil.The head of the peg also has a 24mm socket so you can use a cordless drill and 2 large lashing hooks to secure your awning or tent. The 300mm is ideal for soft soil and the 500mm is for sand.

Wish these were around 20 years ago, thinking back on all the years spent digging out sand pegs when all you have to do now is get out a cordless drill. I would recommend the 500mm long pegs over the 300mm, from experience the 300mm are not long enough to penetrate into the denser sand on the beach, have had a few of these pull out on me, however have never had a 500mm one fail. So my advice is to spend a few more dollars and get the longer ones.
