Delivery Methods and PO Boxes

We use a variety of courier services including Australia Post eParcel and Fastway. We can deliver small parcels (typically up to a 5kg satchel size) to PO Boxes, however all larger items are sent via couriers which cannot deliver to PO Boxes or Parcel Lockers.

Receiving Deliveries

As we use couriers to deliver all parcels, products will not be delivered to an unattended address. The courier will require a signature from an occupant at the specified delivery address at the time of delivery. If no one is available to sign for any parcel a card will be left and the parcel re-directed to the nearest Courier depot. You will then be responsible for collecting the parcel from that depot or paying an additional charge for re-delivery. Great Escape Camping recommends all deliveries be shipped to a location that is attended during business hours, whether that is a home, work or other address, to minimise any redelivery delays and/or fees.

Authority to leave (ATL)

We do offer you the ability to chose Authority to Leave (ATL). However please be aware that if you chose this option, once the courier has said the item has been delivered we/couriers will not be liable for any loss or damage to the parcel. We strongly suggest to avoid choosing this method unless you have a safe place to have the item left and confident that no one will take the parcel(s).

Delivery Time Frames

We use a selection of courier services with delivery times of between 1 - 10 business days after dispatch to majority of Australian City, Metropolitan and Major Regional areas. Deliveries to remote or regional areas will take longer than estimated. Express deliveries take approximately 1-5 business days and may not be available to all locations. Courier deliveries are made during business hours, Monday to Friday only. We get all our deliveries out next business day please take this into account when ordering.

Reasons for Order Delays

Occasionally, if a particular product is in high demand, or sold in store before stock is adjusted, we may need to place it on back order to fulfil your request or we may need to supply it from outside of our standard delivery network. If this delays delivery much longer than normal freight times, will notify you by email.
