You get what you pay for!By: Neil Taylor on 15 February 2019Purchased this tent with great expectations, which in some areas were met and was let down in other areas. Erecting the tent is so easy and so quick. The size is great, the front verandah section makes for a very comfortable set up, which would suit extended stays. The down side is the poles, pegs, ropes and cleats are not adquate in strong wind. We had really strong winds which caused the two corner poles to collapse inwards on the knuckle joint. Also the plastic cleats on some ropes slipped, the ropes became loose and flappy. I parked my ute in fron of the tent to try to protect it from the winds and also tied the corner ropes to the ute. I also attached an additional rope to each corner of the tent and secured with bloody big pegs. As an experienced camper Im kicking myself for being a scrooge and buying this tent instead of the Black Wolf equivalent. The quality of the components of the Black Wolf are far superior to this tent. I feel the Black Wolf would be much sturdier in heavy winds. Another plus for this tent is that it stayed dry after some decent showers
