Great StoveBy: Drew on 8 May 2018I have a number of other gas stoves which run on butane but this one is the best as fuel is available everywhere, and heat output is by far the best of the lot. Build quality is also great. This is a well built quality item that is easy to use and looks like it will give many years of dependable service. Would highly recommend this product to others. Price was also great and shipping was fast and free
Seriously hot, and works in the cold :)By: Kim on 27 April 2018We've always used liquid fuel stoves (MSR usually) when we went walking. Now we use the ute for 'camping' and two of these have replaced my 50 year old Coleman liquid fuel 2 burner suitcase stove... These light very quickly and easily and produce more heat than any camping gas stove we've tried - and in the cold weather it just keeps going, rather than the LPG bottle freezing up! Venerable technology, but darn well implemented. No complaints. We cook on this using a Tefal 'cocoon' cookset - and the frypan is perfectly stable on it. On minimum it simmers nicely with a heat dispersing mat - otherwise the contact area with the flames is slightly too hot. Seems much better at simmer than the MSR whisperlite and also much hotter when on full. But it is not something I'd like in my pack! All steel and heavy in comparison, but for vehicle based 'camping' it is great.
